Awesome news to start your day: Jeff Garlin just landed a deal to create a new comedy for ABC. The executive producer and star of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” will write, executive produce and star in the currently untitled show. Bruce McCulloch (formerly of “The Kids in the Hall” and “Saturday Night Live”) will co-write the script and will also serve as executive producer. As you know from Garlin’s recent interview on the Sound of Young America, it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
