New Ways to Give

At the urging of a listener, I’ve added an Amazon Wishlist to the sidebar. I’m not much of one to accumulate DVDs and such — the items on the list are priorities for the show equipment-wise. Basically some field recording equipment, an extra mic, and some hard drive storage. I was listening yesterday to Marketplace, which is broadcast from The Frank Stanton Studios in Los Angeles, and if you buy us any of the stuff on the list, I hereby declare that it will be named after you. This will probably mean nothing more than writing your name on some masking tape and taping it on the handle, but YOU WILL BE HONORED.

Also, if you haven’t been to the donation page lately, I’ve added one-time donation and donate-by-mail options, also by popular demand. My strong preference is PayPal subscription — the regular (if modest) income from these donations is what keeps the expenses associated with the show at bay. However, if you’re uncomfortable with PayPal, or with subscriptions, you can now give to the show in another form.

I’m also happy to accept in-kind donations and even barter for underwriting credit on the show. It was the latter that built our forums, for example. If you have some special skills, email me, I may even need them.
